Standard? Big Slick in Cash Games

Careful, poker content to follow...

This looks pretty standard I'm sure, but I'd be interested in your thoughts pre-flop, as well as post-flop here. Obviously, the result is nice, but in cash games I've become a bit more cautious with AKs, especially facing a re-raise (early in the session, so assume fairly tight range here).

The pre-flop seemed standard. He's probably kicking himself that he didn't push all-in preflop, but I think he played it right. The overbet on the flop was suspicious. I would have called, too.

Your re-raise is good, but when he re-raises you, at this level, fold. You got lucky.

The girls are just old enough to wear the outfits you sent them and you'll get a picture soon. Let's chat at some point, I wonder how you're doing! :)

As long as you can put your opponent on KK-JJ, a call is good because the A gives you three more crucial outs. The overbet looks suspicious, so I'd like to think I would call too.
